Right click it and select Delete.

Go to C:\Documents and Settings\
You will see a folder by your name or whatever name you have put in while windows xp installation. Click on this. You will see FAVORITES folder. You can open it to delete or add or rearrange your favorites

Open favorites and on top it will say organize, click that and will let you delete.

if you want to delete the title :
right click ---> delete
