Yes, absolutely! I was cooking full meals by the time I was 12. Do you live in Colorado Springs? If you vacuum, and can mop two floors, you can come live with me! BTW, I love chicken and rice.

Depends on the 16 yr old. I started all the baking for our family when I was 8, so I cooked a lot by 16.

What has age got to do with it? A person can cook, or he/she can't. You know how many dingbats cook stuff because they have to and have no talent? Just go ahead and cook, and learn new stuff, too. Don't make a mess - good cooks don't make messes.

I wouldn't mind as long as you keep your utensils clean and wash your hands before you handle the food....I won't like it if a 16 year old squeezes zits while cooking at the same time.

If the person was a good cook, yes. But if they were just starting, I would refuse to eat it.

Sure, as long as you wash your hands. I think it's great when teens know how to cook. It shows that you are smart and creative.
