yes give them some royal land,anyway the land isnt realy the royals land its the peoples land,i might not agree with the travellers way of life but i think the royals are a waste of public money.

But travellers should be given more status def. They should pay a rental fee on sites and the local authorities should provide enough to service the whole travelling community. This way there can be no excuses for using non-authorised land and therefore can be fined heavily.
If this involves 'royal land' so be it.

No. What are we talking about? The ones setting up homes and businesses are not Gypsy's. What we have are migrant workers from parts of Eastern Europe and Ireland. Why should they be given any land at all. They pay no tax or NI. Its human rights again. What about my rights? Why should I have to keep them. Some travel for work in the good weather then go home in the winter to their houses abroad. They want land buy it , get planning, pay rates and live like everyone else.

how about a nice island out to sea, somewhere that isn't serviced by ferries - just drop them off by helicopter and wave byebye!
