I have three ferrets and they are wonderful, but they sometimes misbehave (like tearing up the carpet). Guinea pigs are okay, not really loveable and cuddly, they just kind of sit there. I've never had a rabbit but they seem absolutely adorable! Cockatiels are very loud, so you may want to consider where you live. If you live in an apartment or something similair, you might get noise complaints over a squaking bird. Good luck with your choice!

Ginea Pig!
I have had all of these pets but I just loved my piggies! The males were most laid back, but they smelled much worse. I would get 2 (5 week old) female guinea pigs if I could get another pet right now. They need a big cage, at lease 3-4 feet long and 2 feet wide, but storage bins work just fine! They can't jump more than a foot or so, so just leave the cover off. They also need a special diet (check out guinealynx.com) but so do rabbits and birds. They have really quirky personalities and have a big vocabulary. They squeel with joy when you go into the room, so you know they love you (Ok, it's mostly because you give them food, but...) They don't like to be chased around the cage, but they love to be held and petted on the head.

1. No way would I ever want a Ferret they claw up your arms, I am allergic to them, they smell really bad, they poop a lot, and they take and hide all of your jewelry! Getting them descended costs a lot of money and trusts me you will have to get it done! 2. Guinea Pigs are nice pets just keep your toilet seat down if you have one lose in your house because they will climb into in and drowned. They are very finicky at first and they are one of the easiest animals to get mites witch you can get from them, but as long as you know that they are healthy and in good condition that should not be a problem! It takes time and effort to get wormed up to them but if you have the time they make wonderful pets. They love attention, they are cute, and they cuddle a lot! 3. Rabbits are a nice pet to have as long as you do not have really young children that will pull the rabbits hair because if you pull on their hair they will scratch or bit you. You have to keep there nails clipped and in the summer when it is hot you need to put a frozen bottle of water in with them as well as there regular food and water. They are cute, fun to have; quiet, and a great pet for any one who dose not have small children! 4.Cockatiels are nice pets but if you get them when they are just babies than you will have to get up every two hours to hand feed them, so if you get one get one that has already developed a personality and has been weaned! You will want to get to know the bird before you buy it.

I'd go with a Rabbit. They're wonderful snugglers, so cute to see hopping around the house, really easy to litterbox train, very quiet, and don't smell awful like ferrets. My second choice would be Cockatiel--they have a lot of personality, if you get one that's been hand-raised it will be very affectionate, and they can be trained to do really cool tricks.

Ferrets are cute, but they seem like they'd be high maitenence. My boyfriend's sister has a guinea pig, and though it's cute, I think it's kinda nasty. Cockatiel's are annoying >_< I think a rabbit would be the best because they're quiet and not as high maitenence.

YOU need to do research on each of the animals you listed and decide for yourself which will fit best into your lifestyle! A pet that is perfect for one person may be a terrible choice for another. We don't know you or your lifestyle. It's completely up to you. All the animals you listed have very different needs and are of very differing price ranges.

FERRET!!!!!!!!
They're intelligent, sweet, entergetic, spontaneous, use litter boxes, are easy to keep happy, love to make u happy, enjoyable, exciting, they fit their sleep & play schedule around u, & u can teach them all kinds of things!
With a ferret u can learn all kinds of things... they r AMAZING friends, not just an ordinary pet! They are really great to have & fun to b around. U'll never b bored again w/a ferret!
I teach every ferret I get to open doors & use the litterbox n the bathroom. I also like to teach them to use steps/stairs & take regular baths atleast 1 time a week to 1 time every-other-week. I taught my first to play paper ball... it was hilarious & inexpensive!!

How about you do the research on each kind of animal and then go to a rescue group to see what's available for adoption. Just having people randomly give you an opinion isn't going to work.
