All my usb ports are used up is it possible to get an adaptor to plug into 1 and have more usb ports

Go to a shop and buy a USB Port Hub. It is a device which if offers 4 USB ports in one. Some has only 3 or 2. Most likely, you will see at least 3 USB ports in one. If you're a Singaporean, go to Sim Lim Square and get one. It should be at the 4th floor.

yes, you can buy USB hubs.
they usually come with 4 ports but you can get some with 8.
Make sure you know whether your PC's USB ports are USB 1.1, or USB 2.0 (high speed) to ensure you get the right hub.
If you have USB 2.0 attatching a USB 1.1 hub may work (check for compatability) but it will slow down the speed of the ports.

yes you can buy a hub from any computer shop or of eBay they usually turn 1 port into 4. Some require extra power from the mains and those that do not cannot cope with to many high power hardware plugged into them but low power is fine (I use one with an extra power supply and have very few problems.)

Yes. It's called a USB hub. Mine has four ports, but you can buy others that have more ports on them. And it is possible to daisy chain hubs so you will have even more ports. So far, my four-port hub has been sufficient.
