No dam birth control is 100%!! I know someone who has had a child off the shot. My best friend was on the pill and then took the morning after pill and still found out she was pregnant. I was on the shot for 3 years and the doctor told me it would take a long time for the shot to leave my system. I missed a shot and was pregnant that same month. It does work better than the pill tho but dont let NOBODY tell you its 100%

Most likely, you will not get pregnant. The Depo shot is effective in preventing pregnancy 24 hours after getting the injection.
There is always a chance of pregnancy if you are having sex.
Birth control doesn't work for some people. If you are concerned, you can always start using condoms as a backup. And make sure to keep your appointment for your next shot.

In my opinion, birth control is not a guarantee that you will not get pregnant. I have heard of women getting pregnant while on the pill or other contraceptives. Specifically about the depo shot, I can't be sure. However, if in doubt, consult the physician who put you on it. If I can remember correctly when I was on it, my doctor advised me to wait at least until my second shot before having unprotected sex (don't quote me on this!).
Best of luck!

No birth control is 100%
When you start a new birth control plan the first or second month you should use an alternate form of control(condoms, abstinance)

I'd be more worried about getting AIDS or something else.
Better make sure that 30 minutes of sex is worth dying painfully for.
