If you are speaking of John Lennon the late member of the Beatles Band, the song Imagine is his best work, I think.
The lyrics and melody are simply awesome. The man was a gentle soul, who had nothing but the wish for peace among all people. He wanted us to try to imagine a world like that. His song did inspire me to imagine what it could be like. It is a beautiful picture, that every American I know ,would love to be painted into.

U mean John Lennon? if u do i think 2 of his best songs was "Imagine" and "Beautiful Boy" They were just beautiful songs! U could almost feel his soul when u listened to those songs!

IN MY LIFE
It's just such a touching song about Love & Loving. It makes you think about the people you love and the distance between. It also makes me remember when I was growing up in Queens NY and all the places & people who were such an influence on my life and now they're gone. I really Love this song. Rest In Peace John.......

Free as a Bird. I love this song because it is a great song, love the words and melody, but also, since it came out so many years after his death, it was like a gift to all his fans.
