nicely initially, the mass of the item has a tendency to infinity alongside with its length as an merchandise strategies the cost of light, as a results of specific relativity, as interior the vehicle being relative to a table sure merchandise, time could rather be frozen if we travelled on the cost of light, whilst in comparison with a table sure observer. If we expect of roughly a primary motor vehicle that strikes alongside a street and places its headlights on, the sunshine as a results of vehicle shifting does no longer bypass any speedier, wavelength and frequency could despite the fact that regulate, speed=frequencyxwavelegth. eg frequency enhance and wavelegth shrink will nonetheless supply the sunshine at approx 10^8 ms-a million. So decrease back to the question if shall we be in a motor vehicle going on the cost of light and positioned headlights on then there could be no effect, there'll nonetheless be comparable quantity of skill, as a results of fact the conservation regulations that skill can not be created or destroyed :)

You hit a tree.

Seriously ... driving in the dark at the speed of light would be the number 1 cause of traffic accidents if the speed limits hadn't been put in place!

You see, your headlights send light out at the speed of light.

So when you are still, the light bounces off the tree and some of it enters your eyes and strikes your retina so you can see it. You don't have to dodge it cos you are stationary (you nitwit!).

At the speed of light, the light does not leave the headlight to bounce off the tree, so you don't see it... so you crash.

Hahaha, bad question, it is impossible to do that... because the equations relating to the speed of light are divided by something that turns into 0 at the speed of light. therefore, your mass is undefined. Yes the equations are true, proven at particle accelerators with lifetimes of unstable particles.
Theoretically it would just move along with you. you would also measure the speed of light at 3 time 10^8 because light speed is not affected by the source that emitted it. the equation for finding the speed of light involves no variable, only 2 constants. Lots more, Find a book on the special theory of relativity by Einstein.

The light will appear from your perspective to act in a normal fashion, i.e. it will eminate from the headlights as if you were stationary. But, to be perfectly honest no one knows for certain, since no one has the ability to travel at the speed of light.

I'd say you'd have light, but the headlights wouldn't serve their purpose which is to brighten the path ahead of you as your car is traveling as fast as the beam.

This question has been asked a countless number of times before, just like the chicken and the egg question. Please use the search function before asking a question.

But the simple answer is that you can't travel at the speed of light in your car, because you and your car aren't massless.
