Go to the MY ACCOUNT settings and you choose the new password. You'll have to enter the old one and then the new one twice. It's very easy.

if you're with Yahoo mail go to My Account at the top of the page after you login and select 'Change Password'. You will be prompted to enter your exsisting password and then your new password twice. The procedure for other emial providers will be similar

If you are using Hotmail.
Attempt to sign in as normal and then click forgot my password if you've forgotten it. But if you know your password but just want to change it then access your emails and click options in the top right and then click change password ;) Hope this helps :)
