i rented a new instrument for this year and its in the worst condition ive ever seen.(I HATE it.) i have to wait until the end of september until i can get a new instrument. any advice to help me ignore it?

Hi been there done that dont let it it get the best of you keep at it.If you can master this you will be able to advance with a good instrument keeeeeeep at it good luck.Waltz

Return it.

If you can't return it, quit. Find some other way to learn where you get a decent instrument. (Doesn't have to be an Amati, just a halfway playable student version)

well it depends on what insturment it is because i have a flute and the same thing happen to me all you need to do is wash the parts that are small dry them and then polish it and it wont look to bad. good luck!
