In conversation, small talk, or just shooting the breeze. Ever not know what to say?

Yes...when a person shares something heartbreaking, sometimes a gesture says more than words...a warm touch on the shoulder, a gentle rub on the back, a heartfelt hug

At its most basic level, the art of communication can be summed up by those two words. Whenever we communicate, we have two goals in mind: grab someone's attention and then tell them something we think they need to know. We do it every day with our friends, families, work colleagues and even with complete strangers. It's as easy as falling off a bicycle. Right?

Wrong.

The world of communications is far more complex. You must carefully map out the journey your message will take and prepare for every conceivable pothole or roadblock. Then you have to weave through traffic's discordant cacophony of blaring horns and screeching tires and deliver it to its destination unscathed. Fall off that bicycle just once and your message will be crushed beneath a pitiless onslaught of excess information.

Sometimes, it's according to the situation. When somebody compliments me. I never know what to say. When I have an opinion that is not what someone wants to hear. I do have a loss of words.

all the time with my husband. I never feel like what i say is important by how heacts yet i am suppose to care about evrything he says. It makes it hard to want to talk to anyone after being with him

uh yeah. all the time. I fumble and mumble and stop mid sentence. I am a real jerk sometimes.

This happens when I am in a group where I feel I have to somehow impress.
