well, if it is not biased , then yes. i have red the sanioura 7 points and i think they make sense. Israeli troops have to leave south of Lebanon and the Lebanese government take over , whatever happens next should be settled politically.. and as for hazeb ala , this Resistance will never end , it is fair to resist an invader , so long that they continue invading yours

NO....it might work for a while but people hate each other so much over there that they will be fighting again soon. The people over there have hated each other for years and a resolution might stop the fighting for know but the hate will still be there so the fighting will be back. And the UN is terrible about inforcing what it says anyway.

When has there ever been a resolution by the UN ended anything? I am not saying that maybe one or two hasn't, but I can not think of a one that was taken seriously by anyone.....so, NO, it won't

That is a stupid question. UN doesn't follow through on the resolutions look at the crap from Iraq. They didn't comply and the UN said ok you can keep telling us that you won't let the inspectors in.

No Iran and Syria have already said the UN is a joke (sorry paraphrased that a bit) and since no one listens they won't pay attention to any resolutions the UN makes. Israel has also told them to butt out.

If the UN would spend its money on trying to teach tolerance and humanity it might in many years change the minds of people. The way it is now they just go around trying to break up fights.

If any honest resolution, with a motive to solve the problem is passed, than it can be effective. But unlikely.

Not in this case. The UN believes in peace and the only way it can be achieved is through compromise. Neither Hizbollah nor Israel want to compromise.
