the next FIFA World Cup will be in South Africa, the first country from African continent to stage the finals. it will be held in 2010, usually in the summer between June to July.
32 teams will be featured in the finals, South Africa has qualified automatically as host nation. ITALY, the 2006 FIFA World Cup champions has to play in the qualifiers as FIFA no longer allows the World Cup champions to qualify automatically.

The 2007 FIFA Womens World Cup will be held in China. China was scheduled to host the 2003 FIFA Women's World Cup but due to the SARS Epidemic, the FIFA decided to but have it in the USA because of the way it could be organized so quickly.
The 2010 FIFA World Cup will be held in South Africa and this is the first World Cup held on the continent of Africa.

Summer of 2010 South Africa i believe its getting held in there is another major tournament getting held in 2008 its only European international teams involved tho it'll b held in Switzerland and Austria

it is held every 4 years and each tournament is in a different continent......so the next tournament is going to be in 2010 and the host is south africa the one after is 2014 and it is gonna be in south america...(brazil or argentina i believe)
