It does not take two years for the pill to get out of your system . It is very rare that a womans body will have any side effects from the pill for more than a month after you quit taking them. You could be just timing the days wrong to have intercourse and it can take over ayear sometimes for a healthy man and woman to concieve. If you have been trying to conceive for over a year then you might want to start looking at what the next step will be . Your boyfriend could have his sperm count checked , that is usually the first step, and it is fairly inexpensive . Good luck !!!

Depends how long you have been trying. I caught straight away with my first baby. I am 20 weeks pregnant at the moment, and this one took 17 months to conceive.
The experts say that it can take up to a year, and that you shouldnt start getting concerned until after you have been trying for a year, in which case, it may be worth mentioning it to your doctor.
Presume you have done the obvious - stopped smoking if you did, cut down alcohol intake, started taking folic acid etc.
Dont get disheartened - keep trying and GOOD LUCK x x x

I had the same problem then got a tip from my doctor which worked first time. She advised that rather than having sex like crazy around Ovulation time which means the sperm get use up it is best to abstain a full 48 hours before Ovulation day - then the sperm will be not too old /slow or or too fresh/quick not not strong. I also used an Ovulation kit to pinpoint the exact day. Not sure of the science but it worked for us!

this is a 'how long is a piece of string' question.... two pieces of advice firstly try to relax about it or your love making will become very specific baby making sex which is heartbreaking. but the second piece of advice would be to get you GP to run tests to check if you are ovulating as you should.... two more silly bits of advice do it like rabbits from day thirteen counting from the first day of your last period and the second thing after ejaculation raise your pelvis slightly for a while and avoid going to the toilet for at least an hour to give the sperm the chance to stay in there.... good luck x

I relatively have had melancholy issues interior the previous, yet i wouldn't in any respect say some thing like this. He has no excuse. If in any respect possible circulate stay with a sister/chum/mom real now. you go with somebody there to assist you to no longer attack you. As for the money matters and so on, he has 15k to throw right into a motor vehicle, yet he doesnt have money for his own youngster? guy his priorities are all twisted up. do no longer take his excuses, and actually regardless of if he have been to appologize day after today he nevertheless needs to get some help, as no guy might say that to his spouse except they have been completely twisted up.

i'm not a magic 8-ball. Who knows when it will happen.
You better make sure that when it does happen you nurse that baby on demand for years and do not do no do not subject your infant to the horror, the nightmare of separation from mommy. day care is horrifically damaging to children. don't have a baby if you're not going to raise her. she doesn't need that. and society doesn't need the depressed, anxious, unattached day care kids.

It will happen when it's meant to.
Don't worry or stress about it, that may make the conception time longer. Just relax and enjoy making love, don't let it all be about making the baby.
Good luck to the both of you!

depends what contraception you were using before, if you were on the pill or injection it can take up to 2 years to get out of your system, and the implant is even longer.
