I recently came across a profile who belongs to a very attractive guy I know. I don't know him very well, as I've only recently met him. He's very quiet and doesn't show any signs of being gay. His description on his profile under orientation reads 'Swinger'. Now, he has girls on his friends list but also associates with gay men. Does this mean he fools around with both, at the same time? Does he prefer women? Or does he prefer men? Does it mean he has a girlfriend or same sex partner and fools around with another person or couple? Someone please explain! LOL Thanks!

Swinging is non-monogamous sexual activity, treated much like any other social activity, that can be experienced as a couple. Typically, swinging activities occur when a married or otherwise committed couple engages with either another couple, multiple couples, or a single individual.

The vast majority of swingers are heterosexual couples and can be bisexual in nature. A large portion of female swingers, while they may or may not identify as bisexual, are interested in female-female sexual contact. Male-male contact is more rare, but does occur.

It does sounds as if your friend is bisexual. There is nothing wrong with this. He just enjoys sex with both men and women. As Rodney Dangerfield once said: Bisexuality immediately doubles your chances for a date on Saturday night.
