I get severe cramps & the fastet way to eliminate them it to take pain pills as soon as to feel just a tiny tinge of pain (if you know that's what it is)& get a heating pad & put it on medium tempurature on you stomach & if your back hurts too, you can put it there.
If you are out & about, use Thermacare. They are coals in a pack that heat up when you open the pouch. You peal of the sticker_ stick it on (on you belly under you panties) & go!
I us Premisin for cramps, it illiminated bloating (which causes irritability) Advil works too. Please Note: Chocolate makes cramps worse. Hope this helps!

Hi, I think I might have an answer to help you out.....I personally have never gotten "the craps" but I do sometimes get "pressure" so if someone very large sits on my tummy and hips.....my mom always told me to do sit ups or what I do instead is....DANCE lol I turn up the radio and just do a workout being totally silly, as for the mood swings.....just remember this will only last a few days and when you think your mood is about to swing lol try to think of something else, like if you are getting ready start a fight wit your bf....back off and dont let it bug you....or if you upset...just smile!!

Perhaps your periods are irregular and uncomfortable. Hormonal fluctuations can cause you symptoms like excessive bleeding, severe menstrual pain and pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS): including moodiness, headaches and depression. The Pill can help make your cycle more regular, so there is often less blood loss, a lower risk of anaemia and relief of abdominal pain during your period. You may even experience fewer PMS symptoms. This includes less dysmenorrhea and a decrease in menstrual blood loss and can be a real boost to your overall feeling of well-being.
However, if you encounter any other disorder, like having pain after your period, you better ask your doctor.

1-pain reliever
2-warm bath or warm towel on belly
I don't know how to fix the mood swings because I still get those and they are awful.Every doctor I have talked to says to just ride it out.I even had my hormone levels checked to make sure everything was ok.
Mine are radical so get lots of rest, try to relax.

Eat lots of bananas! I know it sounds stupid, but it really works. Bananas have tons of potassium and all kinds of other good vitamins to help relieve cramps, and improve your mood! I also pop about 4 extra strength advil if I have bad cramps. And drink lots of water!

for the period cramps, lie flat on your tummy when you're sleeping or apply hot compress.. if you're on the go, rub your tummy slowly [it's just like you're applying hot compress, without the compress.. =D]..
i don't know about the mood swings.. maybe, just try to control your temper.. =D

Go and shout at a man. That's what my missus does. It won't help the pain, but it sure spreads the misery.
