ok!!here is the deal I am having a hard time deciding my major. I speak very well and I posses strong interpersonal skills which are great for all three majors. I want a career that pays around 70,000 a year or above. If I choose Mass Comm. I would like to be an anchor , but the only problem I have is I really don't want to write the stories, on the other hand, do anchors really write the stories? or only reporters?

well maybe I'm biased, but I would suggest Speech Pathology. I am currently a senior in the undergrad program and hope to be a SLP in the next few years. I love this major. I have met some of the best people. Once you are done with grad school, you are almost 100% guaranteed a job. There are so many opportunities with this field. You can work with infants, kids, teens, adults, and the elderly. You can work in hospitals, schools, private practices, retirement homes, etc. The salaries aren't too bad either. On average, the starting salaries are around 30-50,000 depending on your location, but I know quite a few people that make a lot more. If you love helping people and making a difference in their lives, then Speech pathology might be the right choice for you. I would suggest shadowing a SLP in order to see if it is something that truely interests you.
