rabbits have a special gland called a rabbitory gland that makes them produce only a soft purr.

Rabbits do make noise! When they're distressed, in pain, or otherwise frightened, they make a noise that sound like a rubber squeak toy. It's really a weird sound to hear. Trying to get a tiiiny tube down their throats to get them formula will occasionally get us rehabber folks that noise, or picking them up even. It depends on the temperment of the rabbit how often they'll make their squeak-scream.

They do make noises, actually. They will scream if they are getting attacked or grunt if they are trying to get someone to go away. Being a pray item, they usually hide to stay out of danger, and a loud animal would certainly not hide very well!

they do make noise, but it's a very soft noise.
one of my friends got a rabbit, and it's quite funny, and maybe he's the only rabbit doing it, but I swear he makes some noise !

Rabbits make an incredible squealing when they are attacked by predators, also the female squeals loudly during mating.

rabbits can squeal, but only do so if they get hurt or scared. they don't make noise because they are food for predators, why let the predators know where you are?

they do. Sometimes i's just something they have (like a twitch), when they are annoyed or angrythey grunt. My rabbits got a cold and it sneezez and snuffles.

my rabbits do make noise..
the one i have we adopted it and i think its part chinchilla and so does the vet.. so she makes noise like hisses and stuff
