I've been trying to log in to AIM and Yahoo! Mail, but I am having a hard time connecting using my laptop which is on a wireless connection. Is there anyway to fix this?

make sure the firewall in your wireless router is not blocking the applications. Some now do that by default.
I had a linksys block my webcam before.
Refer to your user's manual for your router for instructions on how to access and change the firewall settings on your router.

What errors are you getting? Do you have a connection to the Internet? I would check whether you are able to browse the Web, and check other sites. I would imagine you are having intermittent wireless connection, and may be too far from your wireless modem/router.
