Nose-picking is the act of extracting mucus or foreign bodies from the nose with a finger. Compulsive nose-picking is known as rhinotillexomania (etymology: Greek, rhino "nose" + tillexis "habit of picking" + mania).

Here's a gross story - when I met my husaband he was very nervous about me looking under his bed in his house, I assumed he had a massive porn collection under there (wouldnt bother me if he did) so one day when he was having a shower and I was waiting for him, I looked under the bed....
