the shoulder will hurt more...
due to the fact that it is closer to your brain, its nerve endings are shorter therefore the impulses would take less time to actually signal a message to your brain...

I have a tattoo on my lower back an my Sholder blade... I didn't even feel the one on my sholder blade... but the one on my lower back there were a few times I got whoosie

definitely any tattoo on or really near a bone hurts.. I have 7. But the one on the lower back will hurt more.

I have one on my lower back and it really did not hurt. My husband thought I was crazy and I'm fixing to get 2 more on my lower legs

lower back big time. I have three tatoos. One on each shoulder blade and one big butterfly on my lower back. The lower back hurt sooooooo bad but it was way worth it.

i have tattoos and i have one on my lower back it was nothing, i would think the shoulder would be because of being so close to the neck ,many nerves in that area, pick a good one- good luck

lower back because it is most sensative, even though Ive never had a tattoo.

lower back...and i have had a tat, i have 10 in fact. shoulder is the least painful spot.

which part is more boney? which ever part is more boney will be the most painfull. after your outline the coloring should be a piece of cake. b/c you become numb after words.
