I always thought sex should be something special.Either you do it with the love of your life or your spouse.(whom can also be the love of your life) but never among friends namely bestfriend.That friendship will never be the same again.

I have soo tried this one and it does NOT work. I had a male best friend for two years, and for those whole years we never thought of each other sexually. Once things did happen, they began to happen a little more often, and eventually he lied on me and got into a relationship..it really crushed me. And the girl gave him a STD---although I didnt know he was sleeping with us both at the same time!! So not only did he risk my life he also lied and said that I did it even though he found out the girl gave him that. I'll tell you like this: If you plan to stay friends, dont have sex..not even casually. Its too emotional...My best friend and I dont even talk now since that 6 month ago incident and we wer tighter than white on rice!! Please, if you really cherish any friendship, and want to take it in another direction--just try taking it to another level but WITHOUT the sex...:-D

No, You relationship will never be the same. You shouldnt do that unless you both want to be together in a relationship.
