Why do you think this question will be removed? It doesn't violate the Guidelines.
My understanding is that there are some people who abuse the abuse report system, trying to harass legit posters, but then, someone at Yahoo looks at posts and decides whether it's a real violation.
I have the impression that, being overworked, sometimes they make bad decisions on whether to remove a given post or not -- sometimes removing things that are OK, sometimes letting things that aren't go.
Not knowing what stuff of yours was reported, I don't know whether they were wrongly reported or not.
But, no, I am not an *ss. When I see things that clearly violate the (to my mind, reasonable) guidelines, I report it. Freedom of expression lives, but this service, which you don't have to use, has its purposes -- they are what define the service. When there's too much crud on it, it drives away people who want to use if for its intended purpose, and the whole thing will turn to doo-doo.
As I say, I don't know what you got reported for, but, when I see "Wanna chat?" or ads or hate posts or personal insults or gaming for points, or non-questions/answers I report them.
People who come here shouldn't have to face ugly stuff, and allowing too much sludge makes the system not worth it, and it will be used only for hate and sludge. One person can create a lot of sludge, several can overwhelm the good stuff. When people with legit questions, or people who like to answer questions come on, all they see is sludge, and they go away.
Every on-line community has its standard and guidelines, and it's up to us all to abide by them and do what we can to enforce them. If this weren't so, none of the two-way communication stuff on the web would be of any use, except for the haters and time-wasters.
If what YOU want to do violates the standards of this board, go find a place where what you want to do is appropriate.
Preventing people from engaging in legitimate purposes is never appropriate.
About freedom of expression: This is a service; when you signed up for it you agreed to its standards. Yahoo is not the government, and so is not prohibited from banning whatever it wants. Having this wonderfully anarchistic system at all can hardly be called repressive, I mean, most places on-line have restrictions as to topic that really restrict people to a particular topic.
I don't know why people are calling you racist -- I clicked your user name and didn't notice anything overtly racist, but didn't explore much. Perhaps they remember your screen name -- or think they do and you are being falsely blamed.
Being basically an anarchist, I love the freedom of this system. But anarchy doesn't mean people bashing people or preventing them from pursuing their legitimate desires. There's tremendous freedom of expression on this system. You can post whatever you want, within reason.
Please don't try to take the "within reason" part away, it's very precious to me.

The racist comment grows out of the Y! guidelines. That person was merely tying that in to make a point - an example. If you're so insecure and sensitive more likely than not you violated -intentional or not - these established guidelines, and thus, the Q was removed. Another person may have just pointed you out by flagging your Q.
Stay real and don't be abusive. Ask thought provoking Qs that do not come across as to be from a sick-o which another finds repulsive.

I think it all depends on how you ask the question, and if you r following guidelines. We all agreed to the guidelines when we first signed up. Doesnt mean we all took the time to read it, but they should be followed. There r young kids on this site that dont need to read some of the things that r posted. No one is trying to take away your rights. They r trying to protect the eyes of lil ones. If this was strictly an adult site then it should be a free for all, but it is not. If you want to ask sick questions, not saying you r, but if you want to then find another site to do it. I do agree that there r some instance's where a person gets reported for stupid things. But some of the questions and answers should be reported.

There are some questions that are far and beyond the edge. Those questions have no value but to stir up hatred. Any and all human respect is thrown out. A person can post whatever they want, and another poster can just as well utilize the report button.
Y!A wants to have some control over their program which is fine with me.

It is obvious that you have never first hand been involved in or part of an abusive situtation. It is devasting, traumatic, and sometimes means the end of a innocent life. Yes there is freedom of speech, but there is total disregard for others suffering. It would be most respectful to keep these type of questions to yourself or with a group of close friends.

Expression of freedom can be expressed without using vulgar and obscene language. If people can't learn to talk with every other word being a cuss word, they need to keep their mouths shut. Everybody don't talk like that. I reported one guy because all his questions were about raping children and torture. That goes beyond freedom of expression. People need to realize that people of all ages, races, countries, nationality, etc. read these questions.

Freedom of expression is good and encouraged, but respect for others is also very important.

Because Yahoo does not recognize the First Ammendment here on Answers as they are afraid someone might have their feelings hurt and they feel someone who is overly sensitive is more important than YOUR Constitutional rights to say what you really belive... that's the trick, you know... you have to BELIEVE what you are saying... just just trolling for replys.
