Well first talk to your friend about telling this kid "brantley" then if your friend is totally ok with it, you could write a note to him, or you could just go talk to him, start with something about school and then get more personal. just work your way in from there.

Well, thats tough when you're best friend likes the same boy that you like. If he is kind to you and your other friends, cute, funny, smart and has a great personality then you should tell your friend you like him and hope she understands. But if you do that, you could run the risk of losing your friendship. If he's not all that great and he's just "hott" then maybe you should look for another guy.

I know exactly how you feel. First I think you should approach the guy and just let him know that you are interested. He will either be interested as well, or not. Then you can decide how you want to approach your friend about it. If he likes you, let her know. If not, dont feel bad. Just be open to the fact that he is fair game, and friends are forever. If she is your true friend, she will be happy for you one way or the other. If he likes her, or neither one of you, the friendship will still remain, and then you can dislike him together (LOL) Good Luck

does your best friend know?
If she doesn't then tell her and be honest. If you lie it will only make your relatonship worse than you think it could be.
As for the guy, it can't hurt to flirt a little. And if your friend really likes him then she would have already made a move.
So if you get clear signals from the guy that you like saying that he likes you to...then...well...go for it girlfriend!

Talk to your friend, either agree that neither of you will try anything and leave it at that, or find out which of you he is keen on by asking the poor lad. It might be neither of you, which would resolve quite a lot of problems!
