To settle down is fine if you want stagnation. Over time our wants and needs change. Why does one stay on and only wish he-she could do things more enjoyable, more update, and move on with life. I for one am in a learning process, such as enjoying the computer age. My mate will not touch a key. Gets angry when I do. So whats not to want to find a mate who has the same interests and wants to go ahead in knowledge. If you mean different ladies sex wise, That should be o.k. too.

I think most want to settle down, the chase game gets old! Most of the time, having different ladies is not that much fun, you find one you think might be nice, you go home with her and do it and then that's the last time you have anything to do with each other and it leaves that blank spot in your mind that says "what ever happened to?" and "I wonder?" and they never go away! Better off settled down.............................. :-) I am married and love it!

I'm old enough now that this may be a moot point. Or, maybe not, you decide. Looking back over two failed marriages, which encompass years of discontent leading to misery, I think now it would have been better for all concerned if I'd remained single and carried on brief, and I suppose, rather meaningless relationships to satisfy my needs for female companionship. As it stands, I wind up nearly 60 years old and without a mate anyway, but I'm perfectly content. Different strokes.

I'd like to settle down, but not necessarily get married.
I think Marriage is an outdated notion. I think it would far better to make a sincere comment that actually means something to both parties.

I settled down. When you find the person it is easy. Everyone goes through the phases, but when it comes down to it, nature will take it's course.

Most of us mature and settle down to a monogamous relationship. That doesn't mean we are dead! Look but don't touch!

Most guys want to settledown. Some guys like being players but most guys want to find a good woman and settledown. Sometimes a guy will be in a bad situation and settledown with the wrong woman for the wrong reasons, but even thou he is not happy is has never cheated. Although if a woman as beautiful as you wanted to be with him he would leave her in a heartbeat to be with you.
