Distance and age have separated you. Look at this person as one of those beautiful teachers that come into your life and help you see the world a new way and then pass out of it.

Jared, I'm so glad that you have found someone you think you could love. Sorry that he does not feel the same. have you actually asked him about his feelings?
As you now see age and distance should never be brought into the equation of love and I hope in the future you will continue to see this. However I have no words of advise on how to get over him.
What I can say is look at the qualities of this man you think so highly of. Make a list of those qualities and look for a man that will love you that have the same qualities. Hopefully you will find him soon and you can live happily ever after.

Time to move on. Personal experience - too big of an age difference. And he knows it. The loss will hurt but it's time to move forward. He did something positive for you, now go meet other guys your age and be the better person for having known him. It might be better if you stopped the phone calls so you'll be able to get on with your life. good luck

Jared, you will meet someone else even nicer, better than him one day. He is not the end of the world. You should move on because as u know that he doesn't love you, The better love is coming to you somehow. Cheer up, please.. Good luck..
