the display of my acer 2310 flickers a lot and ths has increased since the past few days , the notebook is only 10 months old, and worse still I have been having this problem since last 3/4 months
the video driver is abosultly fine , what could be wrong ,

ps it had sound problem as well around 5 months back I had to get the speakers cleaned

Just increase your videocard Refresh Rate .It would be affected due to over degaussing ...

Check your connection between your monitor and video source. Sometimes the cables are a little bit loose, or the cable might be old. Try wiggling the cable around each end, and make sure the cable is connected firmly. If none of that works, try getting a new monitor cable.

i got the same kind of problem on my sony laptop, so i shipped it to sony for repair and they got iit fixed, there is nothing that you can do about it on your own, you should send it back to manufacturer before the warranty runs out

well if your computer is only 10 month old -- you should still have warrenty on it-- so quick call the manufacture before your warranty runs out!

The LCD might be going...if it is still under warranty, get it replaced.
