Lads Weekend - Lodz, Poland?

Question

I am trying to organise a lads weekend for Lodz next March but i've struggled to find much information on it online.

Just wondered if anyone has ever been and what they thought of the nightlife.
Was there plenty of bars/pubs and how cheap/expensive was it?
Nightclubs?
Dare i say it, any houses of ill repute or 'gentlemens clubs'

Also is there much to do during the day to keep us away from alcohol for a few hours? Maybe paintballing, go karting, etc

My father is from Lodz. My grandparents used to live there and I visited quite frequently.
Lodz is a working town, used to be run by cotton mills.
In recent years it cleaned up a bit, and the growing student population brought up the demand for night life and daytime activities.
You will find a lot of bars, clubs and hot spots. I don't know about a day-time stuff though, it's been a while.
However, if you're going foe a male oriented weekend, why not go to the seaside, like to Gdansk, where you will find the beach or the sightseeing for the day and the tourist-oriented fun during the night.
Gdansk being a sea-port will cater to your ill-reputable needs.
Or you can always try Warsaw, as it is the capital city and the most cosmopolitan and developed city in Poland. You can even indulge in a round of golf there. There are casinos, gentelmens' clubs, clubs, bars, history and culture, lots of University girls speaking English and pretty much anything your heart desires.
Prices, regardless of where you go are affordable, as Poland has not adopted the European Union standards yet.

Lodz is not a particularly big town.I visited the palce several times acouple of years ago on business.There are of course bars and nightclubs but not too many.You sound like a Brit' ,so for you everything,booze,food and women will be relatively cheap.
