My 13 year old son suffers from low self esteem and worth, he is constantly in serious trouble at school and at home. He feels no remorse for his actions nor can he explain why he misbehaves, he blames everyone else for 'making him do stuff' and will take no responsibility for his actions. He has seen professionals such as councillors, psychiatrists etc etc and tells themall the same that he has no problems and doesn't know why he does some of the things that he does. we are a regular family, he is well taken care of and loved. I have tried absolutely everything to help him and support him but I am at my wits end and if he doesn't get some kind of help I fear for his future. A 'Boot Camp' is probably the only thing i haven't tried. i have seen them work on TV, surely there has to be something similar in NSW, Hunter Valley, Sydney area.

I know of this organisation in QLD that take young troubled people for an extended bush walk and then keep them on camp at their base camp for a week or so.

I'm not sure a "boot camp" is the best thing to build self-esteem. There are excellent books on how to build teen self esteem and reasoning skills. Search Amazon.com for some options. Sender the teen away may help, but I'd first try to strengthen the home environment and improve her problem solving skills in the comfort and safety of her normal world.

that is totally unhappy yet different teen ladies have not got good place fashions at dwelling house or interior the media. different mum and dad recommend properly, yet they do no longer take a little time to instruct their infants good values. they do no longer look to be spending time with their teen and attending to comprehend them, so they leave it as much as the media and that they start up off latching directly to the stars who're considered as cool because of the fact they have b.a.d(bogue and disrespectful) attitudes and are into drugs. And scantily clad "something is going" ladies are actually the object of what attractiveness is all approximately. they have not got super self-properly worth because of the fact the media is laying the inspiration for them extremely of their mum and dad. i'm praying for them. that is all i will do. God Bless! :)

i am sorry you have to go through this as a mother. i am glad you are trying to get him some help. i suggest you research the internet looking for a boot camp nearby. depending on where you live will determine if he will have to go away for a while or stay close to home. also prayer can also help him a lot.
