you dont...there are no guarantees with a relationship...it's something that you have to work at every day...but if it's a relationship that takes so much out of you that it starts to interfere with who you are and what your all about, then it's time to move on....all relationships are give and take and require "work", but in the same manner, it should also come naturally....so, as i said, there are no guarantees....

generally you don't know but sometimes there are signs that can tell i.e your situation are you having a affair or is the relationship a long distance one etc are there out side pressures affecting it. i have a friend whom i love dearly but our relationship is doomed cos of various things but I'm not gonna waste our time together worrying about it im just gonna enjoy the time i have left with her and my advice to you would be to do the same. quit worrying and enjoy it you never know it could last forever!!!!!!!!!!!

like the others have said, you don't. Because it isnt just down to you. you could be with the most amzing person and think...this is it... but they might be getting fruity with the window cleaner / girl next door / woman at morrisons... ;o)
so in short...you will never know... but if it feels good , keep doing it.

You never really can. If it's meant to be it will last forever, and if it isn't then atleast try and enjoy the time you do have together until it's over.
