It does not refer to drugs, unless they have come up with new ones nobody knows of except drug users. It refers to a Nitrous Oxide System for vehicles to make them go faster.

It is Nitrous oxygen system. The movies Fast and Furious helped spark the craze of people putting it in their cars to make them go faster during street racing.

"NOS" means Nitrous Oxide Systems. for cars but i do no some kid sniff the Nitrous for a quick buzz

I know that parents think that everything that they don't understand is about drugs, but that is not the case here. I think what is more important here is why you assumed it was about drugs. Perhaps, you should reassess your communication levels and your trust levels.
