Sure he probably should have congratulated him. But the Democratic party, which he has served very loyally no matter what the whacko leftists say, turned their back on him. I hope he wins as an independent. And by the way, the same people who say Lieberman showed no class in defeat are the ones who still say Bush "stole" both elections. Typical liberal hypocricy.

I guess it's true that people can see or hear the same thing but come up with different versions. Lieberman DID congratulate Lamont, and did accuse him of dirty politics. I have to agree it WAS dirty. Now watch a Repug win the next seat because of a split ticket!

He showed a lot of class. The republican party has been jamming phone lines and hacking democratic websites for years.
The phone jamming conspiracy in New Hampshire was traced to the white house before the cover up was enacted.

Would you congratulate a theif after he robbed you?
Would that mean you got class or would that make you an idiot?

Ummmm, did somebody say "Sore Loserman"?!

No, I believe Lieberman said he phoned Ned Flanders -- uh, Lamont -- to congratulate and concede. (And I like both Flanders and Lamont; not so keen on whiny Lieberman. Smooching the Prexy sure didn't help him at all. Ick.)

No, it is actually the Democratic Party that has shown "no class" by getting rid of a honest and decent man just because he refuses to become a raving anti-American, social-fascist apologist for the atheist hard left!

On the contrary, He showed class by not being a typical Democrat when he didn't demand a recount, cry election fraud and rightfully conceded.

I think running as an Independent actually increases his chance for reelection.

He did not accuse Med of doing that.....his campaign manager apparently did, but not him....and he did congratualate him on the win.....it was on CNN and Fox.....him calling and giving him the congrats.......He lost, why are you Lemmings still attacking him? is it because you know he has a great chance of winning anyway?

Would you prefer false pleasantries and two-faced niceties? While perhaps not gracious, at least he was honest about his feelings.
