Jewish gangs came in from Europe and occupied Palestine in 1948? Now they have the right to be a “Free Nation” because they claim that 3000 years ago that land belonged to them??? Is this fair??? Can we do the same here? Can we go back 300 years in time and say: This is the United States of “Red Indians” because the land belonged the red Indians then???? Do we have minds anymore or are we brain washed to being plain stupid?

Yes, we are being brain washed because that is exactly what happened. Israel was created by a gang of East European terrorists eventually supported by Britain and the U.S. We can thank Harry Truman for pushing the state of Israel through, and I suggest Israeli P.M. Olmert for Time's Terrorist of the Year award.

Because the UN, and most of the nations of the world, recognize not just Israel's 1967 borders but the Israeli government as well.

Virtually every country of the world was conquered at some time. All the countries of Europe and America and Australasia are populated by settlers and colonists and refugees and asylum seekrs and migrants.

You wish to define "nation" to suit your political beliefs and prejudices. That will not change international law.

Unfortunately for those who don't like the majority popluation now living in Northern Ireland, North Cyprus, Kosovo, Bosnia, Palestine and many other hot spots, one is stuck with "vested interests", status quo, and the consensus of the nations of the world.

You can't go back 300 years, or 500, or 2000. One can, arguably, go back to the 1950s when the seizure of territory by force became "illegal" -- except that sometimes such seizures are recognized.

It has to be remembered that Israel was our main allies in the Middle East when the majority of Arab nations were sided with the Soviet Union. It also has to be remembered that the Soviets oppressed the Christians and the Jews, but gave Islam free reign. Also while the Arabs say they were there first, there has been a Jewish presence when Israel is now going back to antiquity, and while Rome did scatter the Jews, even after 73 C.E. there remained a Jewish presence there. The Arabs want to deny this, but it has been proved via archaeological findings. The Arabs are NOT innocent in this at all, they are not Victims at all. Jordan was created by the Arabs to prevent Palestine from being located there. All of this anti-Jews, and US nonsense is Arab propaganda.

It also has to be noted that we have never supported Israel by putting our troops into their war. This is not the same for the Arabs. We have put our troops on the ground to keep them out of the fire.

It was not alled Palestine....there has never been a country named Palestine, and they didn't occupy it, they were given it by the nations of the world......Actually, if it belonged to them 3000 yearss ago, it is a good argument, but the better one is that God gave it to them......Unfortunately, the courts would uphold the treaties that the Indians were forced to sign.....but if there wasn't that...yes, they could.....and lastly, it seems you are a lemming, and just being plain stupid.....but not all of us are this way

No, way we can call or recognize Israel a nation, even though the U.N.O., has recognized it, now U.N.O., has exposed it is not serving all the Nations of the world or all its member nations, it is only serving and dancing to the tune of the VETO powers, viz., U.S., Israel, U.K., and their alliance, for creating hatred, enemity, among nations and disturbing the peace of the world. The UNO's existence is not significant, as such it has utterly failed to seek its basic objects, laid down its own charter and out of the way actively helping the U.S., Israeil U.K. and their alliance for waging the wars, invading the weak nations, brutally killing thousands of innocent citizens and causing grave sufferings to billions of citizens and putting other nations in danger and threatening the other weak & developing nations, like India,North/South Korea, Iran, Pakistan.
It is most pertinent that since 1945 the U.S., Military has not left the Japan.

You are correct on one point: the Indian's owned this land first. But who put us on this earth to begin with? GOD! And he says that land belongs to the Jews. Everyone just needs to get over it!

We can't. It's an occupation supported by the "God fearing" U.S. government. The Israeli's imprison thousands of Palestinian civilians and they retaliate by kidnapping two soldiers. Answer me this people, if the Native Americans came back and started improsining our people, what would you do? Let them rot in prison or retaliate? The U.S. blindly supports their retarded bastard step child.

Poster above me, please. Let me take you back to the second grade, remember the story of Thanksgiving? The Myans (I know that's South America, this is just an example) were BRILLIANT. To say that the Native Americans did nothing, is ignorant and offensive.

What nonesense! Clearly you know nothing of history, as the Kingdom of Israel and the Kingdom of Judea were recognized countries centuries before Muhammed wore his diaper. So your argument that Jews came out of nowhere in the 1900's is nonesense.

The name Palestine was given to the land by the Romans who beat the Israelites and kicked them out of the land. Palestine was used by the Romans as additional spite to Israelites for resisting Roman Rule. The name Palestine derives from the Philistines, a nomadic group that the Israelites have defeated centuries earlier to the Roman victory.

You clearly have been conditioned by decades of lies, and have no knowledge of history, biblical, factual or historical. You have been so conditioned by your regime to know only one view, theirs. There is absolutely no freedom of speech, expression, varied opinions in Islam. Speak anything against the regime and you die. The Arab mind knows only one thing: force as it was conditioned for centuries. That is the only way to defeat the Arab mind. We are all the same thing when you cut us up. But what is between our ears is very different.

The Israel-Palestinian conflict has never been about a state for the Palestinians. There has never been any biblical, historical, or factual basis for a Palestinian state. Between 1948 and 1967, when Gaza was under Egyptian rule, and Judea and Sumeria (including East Jerusalem) was under Jordanian rule, NEVER ONCE was there an effort to create a Palestinian state. It was only after Israel reunited Jerusalem after winning the war in 1967, that the Arabs were up in arms. All this time they thought that they could crush Israel, and the trouble will be done; they could stop Israel from re-establishing its kingdom (a sovereignty that IS backed by biblical, historical, and factual basis).

In reality, despite continued great odds, Israel has been able to defend itself time and time again.

To the credit of the Palestinian PR/propoganda machine, they have convinced the world to create something out of nothing, with absolutely no basis to do so.

All this time, people in Israel have been naive in believing that the Palestinians genuinely do want peace, and would do anything it can to rid its people of the terrorist element. We clearly see that this is not going to happen. Israel is certainly to blame for sitting on the fence rather than being proactive in its PR to the world.

Those who believe that once a Palestinian state will be created, education of hate by the PA Authority would stop; systematic preaching of hatred of Israel, Israelis, Jews, the Western world and culture would stop; terrorism would stop; suicide bombers would stop; are living a fantasy.

The Palestinians prove it time and time again; they never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity. The continued terrorism against Israel is not going to stop; not now; not any time in the next several generations UNTIL systematic change in the Muslim mind and culture would, by miracle (yet to happen), occurs.

Let me remind you how this current situation began:

BUT FOR Hezbollah going on Israeli soil, killing 8 and kidnapping 2 soldiers, Israel would not be in Lebanon, waging war to destroy Hezbollah and its stronghold. Israel left Lebanon 6 years ago, and during this time Lebanon allowed Hezbollah (with the support of Syria and Iran) to build large munition with rockets pointing to Israel. That cannot be allowed, period.

Lebanon has been occupied and controlled by Syria for decades. The beautiful Lebanon, the French Riviera of the Middle East was destroyed in the Lebanese civil war in the 60's and 70's. The Christian minority that ruled Lebanon and brought it to its splendor has been overtaken by the vilolent Islamic extremists.

Hezbollah is accepted in parts of Lebanon because the population truly has absolutely no say and no choice in the matter. If you oppose Hezbollah, you die. The Lebanese Prime Minister Harriri was assassinated for opposing the Syrian occupation. The current Lebanese government is helpless.

Israel wants peace and recognition of its existence. The Muslim extremists, including Syria and Iran regimes want Israel wiped off the face of the earth, and have repeatedly said so. Israel has absolutely no interest in claiming Lebanon, or any other Arab country.

The Muslim world has missed every opportunity to make peace with Israel. When a Muslim country and brave leader did make peace with Israel (the late Egyptian President Anwar al-Sadat), he was assassinated by Iranian-backed group.

It's time for Muslims to take accountability for their religion and culture. Stop spinning, and address the fact that the Muslim culture is one of the most oppressive and violent cultures, against its own people, and certainly against other cultures.

For those who believe that the extremist element in Islam is small, the numbers are staggering. There are 1.2 billion Muslims in this world. Lets take a very liberal view that only a very small percentage of Muslims are exterme, while the rest of the Muslim world is very peaceful. So if only 10% of Muslims have extreme point of views, and may be a threat, and must be dealt with, meaning dealing with 120 million Muslims! How about 1%? Then you must deal with 12 million Muslims. How about 1/10 of a percent? Then you must deal with 1.2 million Muslims. The numbers are staggering! How do you propose dealing with even the "very low" figures of 1.2 million Muslim extremists?

Israel must be given the opportunity to continue the work to destroy the terrorist group Hezbollah up to its leader. It would be to the benefit of Lebanon, Israel, the Middle East, and the World to rid of Hezbollah, Hamas, the Syrian and Iranian regime. It must be done to finally have a chance for peace in the region.
