He is here in U.S.A. on a student visa. His visa will be expired by the time we can marry. I am scared they will not accept his visa if it is expired! ppl get married to illegals everyday in this country, I just dunno how they do it??? I will get a lawyer but until than what can I do? maybe I won't need a lawyer? maybe i can save the small fortune they charge? I need serious help not a smart crack from bored ppl. If u don't know than that's OK if u know something please help me! Thanx so much!!!

Here are some sites that I hope help you. It looks like theres a ton of paper work involved no matter what you do. Personally I'd want he lawyer just so that you make sure you cross all your t's and dot all your i's correctly. Wouldn't want to marry him and then find out you filled something out wrong and he gets deported after the honeymoon.

This can backfire on you in time. My daughter has been married over six years to a Mexican man and they have two kids and he is still here illegally. Long story. You would be better off with an American. She paid 2grand to a lawyer and it has not helped them at all. Mr Bush will have to change things or else it is a bad situation all the way around.

If you are that worried, go to justice of the peace and get married then have a big celebration on the date that you have planned already.. Yes people do it everyday in AMERICA,, that is why we are the LAND OF THE FREE.....

Turely I don't know why don't you all go to the courts and get it done and then sort things out from there you can always plan a ceremony for onlookers later!

Get civil marriage, then file for status change. But first make sure this is the guy for you.

illegal thing is dangerous and maybe is will lead to a bad result later.much better do something beyong the law.
