Tiffiany lake, my dear, NYC isn't a country. And the Antartic is NOT melting, the polar caps are growing, increasing in the "middle". And you just said it, colder in the winter. If it is colder, then it can't BE global warming!

It isn't. The data to support "Global Warming" are very suspect. That's why there are so many articles in the news media trying to hype this...b/c people can use their own senses to know that it isn't quite right.

I've worked w/ the people pushing the Global Warming agenda...some of them have committed fraud, and I'm not exaggerating that term. Other are overstepping what is legitimate science...b/c it means prestige and funding.

In the end, it's worth being cautious. Conserving energy can save YOU money, so it's worth it from that standpoint alone. But taking reactionary measures? That's dangerous and scary.

Global warming means that there is an increasingly unbalanced temperature in regions.

Like Greenland is getting colder.

And the Countries at the Equator (e.g. Singapore) are getting hotter.

Which means countries with four seasons are going to have extremely hot summers and cold winters.

The Antartic is another story, however, as the Ozone hole is there, Increasing radiation is melting the country, which will raise the sea level but an estimated six or sixty meters (i can't remember). But it's enough to submerge low-lying countries like New York.

Global warming can bring on strange weather patterns. It doesn't always mean hotter than normal. I'm glad you've been able to enjoy cooler weather, where I live is normally high 80's this time of year and for the last six weeks it's been over 100 degrees. Denying global warming won't make it go away, if we don't address it now what do we do when it is beyond our help??? I'm glad your scientific knowledge is such that you can say "bring it on"!

Global does not mean your neighborhood. Some places may get colder, Europe for instance. Global warming means the average temp for the entire world is higher.

colder than normal for a short amount of time has nothing to do with global warming.....

worldwide warming does no longer reason intense chilly temperatures, it variations the trend of flow of climate types. The air gets chilly contained in the arctic. climate exchange is inflicting the jet circulate to sluggish and to develop into wavier, so as that chilly arctic air strikes some distance to the south greater generally. The air isn't quite chilly, it somewhat is in hassle-free terms that it strikes into factors the place it does no longer commonly be. it does no longer be quite chilly if it stayed in North Dakota, it in hassle-free terms looks quite chilly whilst it drops into Arizona. whilst that's amazingly chilly greater advantageous south than everyday, there is warmer air that has moved into the arctic and that's generally warmer than everyday there.
