He is an Old Guard Democrat who is scrambling for his political life. Not only has he refused the changing of the guard, but he is betraying his own party.

The biggest losers are the citizens of CT who potentially lost a great US Senator and the country as a whole. There are very few politicians who have the courage to speak and act on their convictions and conscience like Joe Lieberman. I hope you're happy if the Ned Lamonts of the world allow us to make policy decisions that will lead to another 9/11.

Lieberman can't believe he is out! What?? They just don't know what they are doing! I am glad, I think all the incumbents should be voted out, regardless of party.

At least he didn't blame it on "bad voting machines and the media" then sing a song by Pink! HA! Now THAT is a sore looser. (Cynthia McKinney - D-GA) Oh, and by the way, McKinney didn't congratulate her opponent either.
