I want to buy a pair of running shoes but don't fancy funding Third World exploitation and child labour. Are there any decent alternatives to Nike/Adidas and the like?

I'm not really sure there are any made ethically anymore. Maybe do a search for shoes made and manufactured in the USA?
Actually, I'm not sure how old you are, but perhaps this could be a business you start? Only sell things that you know weren't manufactured by exploiting the workers. I'd shop there.

I think its gotta b hard to get all of these and if u do, what else will u have time for? Not a lot!!!!
As for the child explotation, keeps them off the street dont it? Maybe nike etc. should have had warehouses in beirut 10/20 yrs ago!

talking of shoes, just go to some shoe store locally and buy local made trainers -nike are not the only ones making shoes :)
