Potentially objectible stuff does not necessarily come to the attention of the Yahoo! staff unless somebody complains. In this day and age, filth does not provoke complaints very often, and anyway the software Yahoo! uses often blanks out the filthy parts.
Yahoo! is much more likely to get into dispute over racially and religiously insulting words, so they are removed quickly. If you say, for example, "all Ruritanians are worshipers of Satan and they kill and eat their enemies and drink the blood of the devout" and that any attack on Ruritanians will be rewarded in the Afterlife with unimaginable pleasures, your posting is certain to be removed the minute the first sympathizer of Ruritania complains.

I guess it all depends on who reports you. Not really sure. I received a violation for profanity (of which was in a " ***" format) yet the questioner didn't ask a question but made a statement. I guess I could have reported her for not asking a question or something, but who cares?

Perhaps you chose the wrong forum to post the question. For example, this one.
