The first line is words so ignore.
The result of the first computation '4 + 3 x 2 =' is 10.

Because, in the absence of brackets, multiplication takes precedence over addition.

The result of the second computation '6 - 5 =' is 1.

Since the result of each computation is the only thing that gives a number unencumbered by internal arithmetic requirements, that only leaves the addition of these two resulting numbers to comply with the instruction 'ADD THE NUMBERS':

thus: 10+1=11

BODMAS
Brackets, order, dividion, multiplication, addition, subtraction
All sums are done left to right in that order
so...
4+3x2 is 3x2 because multiplication comes before addition so that makes 6 plus the 4 makes 10
For it to be 14 as some people are convinced it is the sum must be written as (4+3) x2
stuff in brackets comes first (4+3) is 7 times 2

4+3x2 is exactly the same as 3x2+4
