No. Thankfully, many English boys are playing the game again with joy. The Ashes and now the Pakistan series have done wonders for enthusiasm for the game among the natives.
It's wonderful to see how integrated cricket is though. At all levels -- England, counties, club sides (look at Finchley and other Middx League 1 sides for example) right down to Sunday afternoon games and the impromptu bat and ball contests I see all round me.

its all about getting the results on the pitch but it will take a long time for that to happen some good example is Zimbabwe they have been struggling ever since the most white people left the team. but they are now doing great, england is not training many ethnic groups so it very slim to happen in the next ten years.

Probably not.. but look at the no. of players at present or in the recent past who played or were in contention to play for England.. Solanki, Ramprakash, Hussain, Kabir Ali, Usman Afzal, Ronnie Irani, Saj Mahmood, Panesar - not to mention the scores of county cricketers in the circuit..

not necessarily. i think the cricket team is selected entirely on merit. if it is an expat british who plays better than local british, then whose fault is it ?
just pick the best guys - GO ENGLAND !!
really nice to see the cricket team are making genuine efforts and even winning matches, whereas the footballers are busy signing millions and billions (which their wives spend on holidays and liposuctions anyway!)
