Black because black goes with just about anything.
Also, a french manicure.(White finger tips with clear polish on the rest of the nail) it is very nice for summer.

well I would paint little mermaids sitting on the tips (like a french manicure.), the tail at one side, her head and hair at the other side, and her body and tail going along the bottom of the nail. I painted my Aunt's nails like this for her once (when I was visiting from out of state)and she loved it....
