yes but you may not like it but i use it often it is normally used on horses aftyer they have been racing and helps better than anything a doctor can prescribe, it is called absorbine veterinary liniment. jus rub it on your muscles and by morning you will be able to tell a difference.

Ice. An ice bag and/or an ice massage might help. Fill an ice bag with ice cubes and place it on the muscle for 10-minute increments. For an ice massage, fill some Dixie cups with water and freeze in the freezer. Then peel off the top part of the frozen cup and have someone rub the muscle with the iced cup for 10 minutes. 20 minutes on then 20 minutes off. You don't want to get your body temp elevated, but yes it is safe. Also, try to lay in the floor and pull your leg on that side up to your opposite shoulder as far as you can and hold it for as long as you can several times a day. That really helps with sciatica.

I suggest going to your local pharmacy /chemist and asking them for over the counter pain remedies, there are many availble now. You can also try using one of the new wraps that go on cold but become hot , but the best thing to do is to check with your local pharmacist.

First, my chiropractor told me that although heat makes back injuries feel better, Ice is what will make it heal. Also, in my opnion midol is the best pain medication you can buy.... sounds strange but try it!

Icey Hot.....when u put it on it will be cold and it gets hot to dull the pain...i pulled my muscle in my back when i was 4 mos pregnant w/my son 18yrs ago.

go to the doctor! you don't know exactly what damage has been done. Until you can get there i suggest rest and tyelnol or advil
