I consider myself a conservative and feel it is a sad day when a politician can not be intellectually honest in his views. Lieberman may not have been a friend of mine but to be black listed by his party for being divergent on one issue is a shame.

Although I've always consider Liberman as a less than stellar character in recent years, Lamont had me completely turned off by having those two simpletons Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton jump on his band wagon.
I would have rather had ex-Governor Rowland back. Had he ran (if it were possible) I may have thrown my vote his way. The field is pretty narrow for choices here. Of course we'll never see taxes go down in CT on gas, cigarettes, liquor. Richest state in the union and the most expensive to live in too. What a deal. no wonder everyone is high-tailing it to Florida.

Lieberman lost the election more then Lamont won the election. Joe wanted it both ways. He shot himself in the foot and now he is a sore loser and instead of backing his parties candidate like a man he's acting like a spoiled brat and taking his ball home crying all the way. What a pathetic little creature he is. Don't worry Joey, Georgie will give you a job in January 2007, all that butt kissing you have done will pay off.

Lieberman is a true gentleman. I, for one, will be following him closely regarding the issues when he runs as an Independent. Your description of Lamont, that just goes to show you how far down the toilet the democratic party has gone.

Lamont represents a change of the guard in the Democratic politics. Your slur not withstanding, his message is one that the people decided they wanted to send to represent their interest in Washington if he should win the general election.
The McKinney loss in Georgia is a loss for radicalism of the left. The Joe Schwarz loss in Michigan shows a push to the far right by the GOP. The line up looks like the far right verses the centrist.

Liberman is form of a rat subsidized interior the nook, doing something to get out of the mess he's in. he will do or say something to hold directly to his comfortable job with great pay and advantages. His best mistake replaced into no longer listening to his voters and siding against them. it extremely is time for a great replace in our goevernment.

Isn't it sad how divided this country has become in 6 years?
The political lines have become either far left or far right. You can't be a moderate anymore.
