It's like choosing between a lion and a tiger. Both are good, both are young and have the future ahead of them.
I'd go marginally with Tevez, because of what he did at the Olympics, Messi has the potential but we haven't seen enough of him.
There have been a lot of 'one (or two) season wonders' in football.
Time will be the final judge.

I think right now Tevez is better. He's had a little more experience and is not afraid to dribble at the defense.
On the other hand, Messi is also good. However, he is still very young. As he gets older, his game will increase, and he will definitely be one of the world's best.

Well I really don't go for looks if the game's in ques ..... both are equally good ..... as Lola said Tevez in not well known just coz he's not in one of the famous clubs, like Leo or any of the others.
But I really like his dribbling skills, his goal against Sebia-Montenegro speaks for itself.
But then u can't discard Messi totally ..... infact he won the U-19 WC's best player of the tournament .... he's still young and has got a lot more to achieve.
The truth is I really don't know whom to choose both were called Maradona's succesors at one point of time, even tho Messi's Maradona's favourite at the moment .....

thats a toughie...argentina in general is a kick a*s*s team....id have to say that messi has gotten more attention and is therefore a bit more known than tevez, but damn, tevez has some skill....
im going to have to go with tevez on this for now...but only because hes a bit older than messi and has had a bit more opportunity to showcase his talent.

there both great young players, but Messi will be the next great player in the world for years to come. and with both Messi and Tevez they will bring home the WC in 2010. Argentina will be the team to beat come WC 2010 south Africa.

Both are incredible talents Messi has pace while Tevez has strength.They both are great prospects 4 ARG. They can create havoc if they gel together with the playmakers(Riquelme & Aimar)

i am a big fan of both,& argentina as a whole.
So it is quite difficult to make a choice.
Messi is of course graded as the budding Maradona ..
but, Tevez has won Corianthes titles..
both are great.

Yes of course both play for Argentina, I think both are very good
Messi has an incredible dribbling and speed
Tevez has a lot of power is his legs and defense the ball very well.

people pay more attention to Messi....because of his looks....he IS a great player.....but Tevez...he knows his game
