The creator wants us to be a human being first
He wants us all to love and respect
To use the valuable time
To sacrifice
To work hard
To spread peace
To do lot but not by sitting but by doing some or the other thing which we can do by making a people day by not hurting any one
We have come here to workship
We have different characters to play
We have to face both up and downs in life

I can give you a host of replies but I would much rather suggest that you read Ayn Rand's "The Fountainhead." IF we were made in "His" image (maybe "Her"?), then why should we genuflect and prone "His" (ourselves)("Her"?) image and continuously give thanks when it will neither make Him/Her better nor make a difference to an omnipotent/omniscient being! The best we can do is all that is required of us, the best neighbors, sons, daughters, fathers, mothers, friends... we should strive to improve our lot in life, and along the way, help others, too. Borders, religions, governments are all human conventions made for empowering a few and herding the rest as cattle... I don't think that was part of the Master Plan.

Read Ayn Rand's novel, "The Fountainhead" and you will have an insight of what I alluded to, but she was able to express so eloquently.

Creator has given life to everyone. And he *hopes* that people become Humans. And not just Humans but infact, animals such as Dogs and others have more powerful 6th sense.
