Pub regular Nige found the gents full and used the ladies. One woman said "This is for ladies only" and Nige waved it and said "So is this love, but I'm dying for a pee". Now he's been barred for three months. Why can't we use each other's lavs in an emergency?

Some bars have unisex toilets and I found it intimidating. Some men are very tall and can see over the door - not good. Some of the locks don't work so I'd rather have a woman walk in on me than a man. It's a privacy thing for women. and we like to have somewhere to check our make up etc.

My condolences to the lad, 90 days seems a bit harsh for taking care of business. Agree, emergency should dictate protocol... A side bar to this tale, good friend used to drive a city bus and was cited for speeding while driving the bus, took the matter to court and plead not guilty because he claimed he had an "Anal emergency"....He further stated that he had a load of passengers and felt it was a matter of public health that he get to a head ASAP. The judge took the matter under advisement and suspended the ticket.....

When I was pregnant and havin' to go, I went into the first door I could find. I got a few giggles from guys as I walked out, but nobody got mad at me. When you gotta go, you gotta go. Wait, unless you went into a multi-toilet. I would scream if a guy was in a big bathroom. If its a one potty with a lock on the door, ok.

I think it was how very rude he was to wave at his genetalia in such a manner. I would have slapped his face for him if he'd been as fresh with me.
I think it is obvious why men can't use the ladies... there are some perverts out there!
