If I were a child, I would talk to someone, depending on my age. As an Adult, I get out of the situations as soon as it started. My Dad always taught me, I am a female not a punching bag. I have feelings that are fragile, words cut deeply, as well as knives, don't put up with it. Don't ever think you can change a person, because no matter how many times they seem to have changed their colors, they always go back to the original. They also speak with a forked tongue, and eventually it will get to the point of disaster. It worked.
I had one guy b*tch slap me, he lost every window in his car. I have been married for 32 years, and not 1 swing or 1 name has happened between us.

go to someone that you trust and talk to them about the abuse, tell them about what is going on. then get out away from the abuser.
Call the police and make a report about the abuse.
You do not have to take abuse
the abuse is not your fault, you do not deserve to be abused.

Well, first of all it depends who is abusing me.

If it is some person here on the Answers, I'd just send them a mail asking them to behave.

If it was a boss or an elder, I'd give them a taste of their own medicine once in a while. It's unbelievable how bullies can be straightened out by bullying itself.

TELL SOMEONE IN Charge like a school teacher or counselor, a policeman, or if it is someone other than a family member, your parents, or another relative u trust to help u. Change is better than being abused.

If I have committed mistake or something I will apologized first even if that has been done unintentionally.Further if that person doesn't stop then I will keep quite and go away from his or hers sight.

I would probably do nothing at first...("Ask God to help me") i would try to convince my self that I am an important person, and that i don't need anyone to treat me that way.I would try to get help....and ask my self a whole lot of questions
