What is wrong with thinking deeply...embrace that trait...the only thing is some other people may not think as deep or may not want to so in that case keep things more to yourself...find others that are similar to you to talk and debate with...express yourself by writing letters to the editor or in a journal...you'll be amazed as life goes by how your mind develops.

Winston Churchill once said that in life, "You make a living from what you get. But you make a life from what you give." And Benito Juarez, a Mexican liberator of past, once said, "The respect of other people's rights is peace."

These two quotations provide most of the reasoning behind all the religions in the world. Start with this. And think about them carefully.

Further, the fear of death is infinite because we live in a finite world. We know the sun will expand a few million years from now and no matter what we know and what we've learned as a species, the earth will probably not be a sustainable environment given the slow rate of evolution we have in our bodies. We won't be able to adapt to scorching heat.

Further, you yourself will die, and your consciousness will disappear. Octavio Paz once wrote that being born is like taking a jump from a cliff where you, literally, are in the process of dying but fully alive AT THE MOMENT. So the best way to think about death is to think of it as a rebirth: What did you know when you were a baby in your mother's womb? That is exactly what you'll learn once you're dead.

And I know this is a sketchy way to put it, but it's something to consider because, if looked positively, it won't be as intimidating as death often seems to be.

Further, think of the universe, everything it exists in it - books, libraries, files and files of facts, history and change, galaxies, your family, your neighborhood, even you - to have just been born in the middle of space right this second. Exactly at the moment that you're reading this sentence, everything was born, everything!

Now, consider that from now on, the universe will only last for 20 minutes. That's it. The universe and everything in it will diappear like a bubble or like a click of your fingers. No destruction, no collision, just disappearance, like magic. One second it's there, the other, isn't. Think about this: If the universe and everything in it will disappear within 20 minutes....

What would YOU prioritize? Hurting people? Helping people? Learning something? What would YOU focus on if the universe lasted only 20 minutes?

And finally, hopefully this link will help:

That's "irritate"... with an 'i' .....OK here's the deal. It's perfectly natural to think deeply about life. The tragedy is how few people actually do it. You are moving into adulthood and responsibility and you are looking for a sense of purpose. WHY SHOULD THAT IRRITATE YOU? I think it's great that you are looking for a deeper meaning to life. It was Socrates who said "The unexamined life is not worth living. ..." and there you are... I say continue your search. Find meaning and purpose in your life. You are angry and irritated because you are finding life is more than just an endless series of pleasurable/entertaining distractions.

Write it down. You maybe surprised to find how repetitive your thought is. If not so, then go on analyzing each thought. You may need to do further reading in history, philosophy, political science, literature, and other science related articles to broaden your view and see how other great thinkers on earth both in the past and at present think.
Don't be irritated. It is a gift. You have a wonderful brain.

Get a Bible and go to a good Christian church where they have a teaching ministry like the one @ http://www.oneplace.com/ministries/enduring_truth

...so that you can get a divine and eternal perspective on the deep things of life. Even if you're not a Christian it helps to consider what great thinkers throughout the ages have included in their meditations upon mankind and this world that we live in.
