Dr DD
Sorry to track you down but to answer your question. 80's were an odd time. Like my politics, my musical tastes are based on what I like, a wide variety.
Stevie Ray Vahn
John Lee Hooker
Robert Cray
Van Halen
Violent Femmes
Black Flag
The Suburbs
DOA
Dead Kennedys
Motly Crue
Fine Young Canibals
etc...
Oh yes The Clash.
Had to do some dirty work at my restaurant in MN (very sad) then took my kids to Disney World last week. Never seen so many obese people all in one place.
How have you been? What's up with your salad (hair)?

Lets see... I can admit that I loved New Kids on the Block, because I am secure in my womanhood. Ok...having only a cartoon identity has alot to do with that too... ;)
I also loved Boy George, Wham!, Madonna (yes, I wore fifty rubber bracelets on my arm), Duran Duran, OMD, Motley Crue, Guns n Roses, although they were more early 90's, Poison...all the big hair bands. Still love all those songs, they remind me of my "youth"....
I guess you loved Motley Crue??? Dr. Feelgood.

I was a big fan of rap music growing up and for some reason people like easy e and 2 live crew just seem to stick out in my mind more than any other, their crap that got them in to so much controversy and so much trouble all the time just cracked me up

There's a huge difference between who I loved then and who I love now, who was big then.
At the time I was OBSESSED with Debbie Gibson.
Now my horizons have been significantly broadened to include Simple Minds, INXS, Duran Duran, Toto ... The list goes on and on.
