Actually...don't you believe that people are better of pursuing their dreams than trying to be what others think they should be? Honestly - do you want a doctor working on you who would much rather be acting? Where do you think his mind's going to be? Me, for one, would prefer to work with a professional who truly has a passion for what they are doing, instead of wishing they were doing something else. Let these people pursue their dreams insteading of ranting that they should do what others think they should do. Doesn't that make sense?

Everyone has the right to do what they want with their life, if it is something they feel strongly they want to do they are more likely to be very good at it. What I would not want is to need a doctor, lawyer, or cop and get someone who hates their job and is only doing it because they felt pressured into the field to gain the approval of parents or some other person in their lives.

Obvilously they don't want to be doctors, lawyers or cops.. if they want to throw their lives away for a dream.. then let them. I wish that I had the courage to follow my dreams.
